another favorites thread, you know the drill.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Yeah, I know it very well because there's a favorite anime OST thread not halfway down the page!

Now, if you mean live-action OST, then I cannot narrow it down to one. I have favorite composers though: John Barry, Hans Zimmer, Christopher Franke, John Williams.

Standout OSTs are The Living Daylights, Goldfinger, Backdraft, Star Wars-Return of the Jedi, Babylon 5.

Mine would be the OST to An American Tail.

BTW, you forgot James Horner.

Cowboy Bebop Knockin' on Heaven's Door... Ask DNA is one of my all time favorites, and when i first heard the song, i knew it would be great if used in a black and white city type of thing, and low and behold, that's what they did in the movie!

The movie "Big" with Tom Hanks has some nice oldies piano tunes. I love that soundtrack.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Actually the stage version of the album is greatly superior. Otherwise....I don't think I *have* any movie soundtracks, all anime and theatre...
