A good Halloween Song

Postby older_gohan » Tue Oct 17, 2006 1:07 pm

I'm looking for a good halloween type song. Whether entirely musical or having lyrics anything will be good.

What kind of Halloween song. Something every one would kinda love like "This is Halloween" from Nightmare before Christmas or simply something with a dark halloween feel to it like say "Burn the Witch" by Queens of the Stone Age?

Halloween by AFI...
It's a cover of the Misfits song

AFI wrote:"Halloween"

Bonfires burning bright
Pumpkin faces in the night
I remember halloween
Dead Cats hanging from poles
Little Dead are out in droves
I remember Halloween
Brown Leafed Vertigo
Where skeletal life is known
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember Halloween

Halloweeeeen
Halloweeeeen
Halloweeeeen
Halloween!

Candy apples and razor blades
Little dead are soon in graves
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember Halloween

My halloween tradition for the past 4-5 years has been firing up King Crimson's THRaKaTTaK on full-blast on halloween. My friends always agreed that they never heard anything more scary/fucked-up/halloweenish

I always thought that "I Put A Spell On You" by 'Screamin' Jay Hawkins was a good halloween song. It's old, but it still packs a punch as being one of the creepiest, but funny song of all time.

I suggest "A Night on Bald Mountain"

and

"Toccatta and fugue in D Minor"

Two classic, classics
