fast paced/dance remix orchestral

Postby Warpwind » Sat Oct 07, 2006 7:41 pm

hello everyone I'm looking for a fast paced/dance remix of an orchestral track. Or a dance song with a lot of strings etc in it. Jpop's fine as well.

ones I know about and don't want to use -
O fortuna
Adagio for strings

Does anyone have any suggestions or should I just keep browsing through dance compilation cd's in the stores?

Those are pretty good ones, some other ones that I would recommend are...

Palladio (the Diamond Song from Zales)remixed by Silent Nick

If you would like some remixes that have opera in them too, I would recommend....

Spente le Stelle by Emma Shaplin. The original is still pretty modernized chill-techno, but the remixes are much harder... like house-techno.

Eternity by Matt Darey is one of my favorite. I think it uses the same singer from the Gladiator soundtrack.

These 3 songs are currently what come to mind along that same type of feel. I'll add more when I can think of the others.

Something new: Tiesto's remix of Klaus Bedelt's "He's a Pirate" (theme from the Pirates of the Carribean movie).

Yeah but he had alot of mixes of that song. Which one are you talking about?

Or did he only have 1?

Still a good song.

There are only 3 versions of that song, and they're all basically the same thing.

The radio edit, the full remix, and the orchestral remix.

All of them basically sound the same.

I'm not entirely sure pirates and escaflowne go together... at least not if I don't want people to be laughing.

thanks for the thought though

Oh how convenient. A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope.

You might find some of the tracks from the Now and Then, Here and There soundtrack (esp. "Rescuer", "Run Up", and "Tumbling") to fit what you're looking for.

I'm not sure..

Ask over here..

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/index.php?s=

both places have always been helpful with finding specific type of trance tracks.

er... I didn't really think it was necessary it was a style I was after rather than something that suits escaflowne

Actually the pirates of the carribean music would work except for the fact it's well known to be associated with pirates... thus doesn't work

anyway thanks for the suggestions everyone
