Anybody listened to the new Linkin Park CD?

Postby Projekt[Navi] » Sun Dec 08, 2002 8:07 pm

Yea, it had Crawling, which is my fav. song, it had One Step Closer, which had a very catchy guitar tune, and it had In The End which had some of the most realistic rap I've ever heard ... O yea .. and they also did a Crawling video that really touched my soul .. yea this band is so damn awesome ...

Ahh ... memories ...

Image I hope you're being facetious. The remix CD sucks rectal acne. The first one was pretty good, I own it and enjoy it. The second one I don't own and can't stand listening to any of.

the second cd was pretty bad. I think they just got scared of being one hit wonders. It took them to long to write new stuff so they remixed their cd to let people know they're still here. It was kind of a time saver, to buy them more time to write new stuff. I mean if you have one cd and you're not touring constantly, or writing music, most bands like this kinda disapear.

yeah, but what if we hadn't heared from them about their 2nd cd, the remix? That's what I'm saying, they saved them selves some time so that in a matter of time when they have soemthing we'll listen. If we loose intrest who cares if they come out with something new. Look at blink 182, tons of people don't buy their stuff anymore, but then again I myself bought cheshire cat, all the way up to take off your pants and jacket, right when each one released, been a fan for like 10 years or something.

You know you all liked them at least once for awhile until you realized other people's opinions got to yah. You had no choice but to accept they sucked .. or you all heard their newest remix cd. I don't see whats up with you guys .. their remix cd is so damn awesome .. it had the d00d from Staind do the vocals for CRAWLING!! Does not that sound great?

Linkin Park is still a c00 band .. they have ... rap n' rock <<< that sounds great and unique. Just watch they'll come back with a whole new sound .. just as Micheal Jackson has ...

dude, don't give us that shit. If you want tor ant and rave about how we're not being true to our feelings for ANY band at all, go post at the mtv forums. Our opinions didn't change because they got unpopular, we're not that shallow of people. Besides there are several factors to back this up, we talk completley free here.

Here are some of those factors:

Would you go around at school and tell everyone your love for anime and try and talk with everyone about it? very few of us would, but we can all talk freeley here

Is linkin park really looked down on by the nation right now? NO THEY'RE NOT, linkin park didn't ge tunpopular, they're still booming. We felt no peer pressure what so ever to not like the, because there was none!

Is there first CD good? Yeah I think so, I still like them as I've said this whole time, I've never said I didn't. Most people here think it's good. What I've said is I think they've gone silent, or atleast would have with out the reanimation release.

Is their second cd good? No, I listened to it and don't like it, didn't like it since the day it came out.

So stop with your shinanigans about us not being to to them and being peer pressured into not liking them. The facts are they're a good band we like, but most of us agree their 2nd cd is crap, that's all there is to it, no peer pressure. If you want to argue that peer pressure thing, and not being true to the band, go bitch at mtv.com.

I really like the remix for "Pushing Me Away", moreso than the original. "Crawling" and "One Step Closer" remixes are decent, but don't touch the originals. Other than that, I think the album is crap.

Yeah, I'd say that the remix of Pushing Me Away was the only thing I liked. Then again, I stopped listening to Linkin Park due to the "overplayed-ness". Call me crazy, but there's nothing like hearing "In The End" on three different radio stations at the same time.

The remix CD sucks rectal acne

Wow Rozard, that's just got hot and sexy written all over it.

I'd have to say Linkin Park sucks. And they have ALWAYS suck. But they must be cool because they play the are on MTV. That is why they must be cool. So they are cool (your god commands it! But you don't want to know what me and my god like.)

I suppose that makes all rap/R&B/Hip-Hop/Insert-another-name-for-the-same-stupid-bullshit-here and Bubblegum Pop cool too, eh? ^^. Personally I don't mind LP's first CD and the stuff they did before that. It's not the greatest, but I don't hate it. But Reanimation is nothing more than a bullshit ploy to milk money out of their fans, and for that, as a band, I give them a big thumbs down.
