I need help finding a good program to use for buying mp3's.

Before anyone yells "iTunes!" I do not use an iPod, nor do I want to even consider installing iTunes.

One option a friend gave me was napster. More specifically he sent me this link as a ""lol check it out"": http://www.napstergirl.com, but afterwards I was reading up on the new Napster. Anyone know if it's any good?

Offer up your opinions on Napster or any better music buying service if you know of them.

I want to download the Ghost in The Shell SAC theme before this week.

don't buy mp3s. steel them. no really, drm is junk. the music industry basically gives us no other choice. Hell half the drm junk I find won't even play for me or of coarse doesn't last.

on that note, don't amv with mp3s, use wavs.

From Bauzi:

And of course: Compress your audio in the final vid!

OK: The whole mp3 bases are only good for the streams. With them you can hear how a song is and if you like it you get it the free way...

I think one month ago, a programm was released to rip this mp3s with theire microsoft protection, but I don´t know how it is called, but it should work!

What people are basically saying is that purchased MP3s are DRM'd and therefore will prevent you from using them for a video. Accepting that you have to buy them will also embolden their proponents, and that's the last thing anyone wants.

Limewire is a p2p program...which means that getting songs off of limewire is...ILLEGAL (and therfore against the rules).

if you find a song you like, go buy the CD (I've done this on a few accounts)

oh yeah...and you shouldn't bring back topics that have been resolved that are a few weeks old. (that's necroposting and is generally frowned upon, even worse if you make a meaningless post like "I agree")
