Kick Ass Mix

I was watching TV just now and saw a LOTR TT trailer and heard a kick ass remix of Requiem for a Dream Summer Overture I really suggest you all download it. An AMV of great magnitude could be done to this song.

For some reason this strikes me as just plain wrong. No sane filmmaker should want to use anything resembling the music from Requiem unless they want to put up a big "STAY THE FUCK AWAY" banner on their film.

Sorry, it's been months since I've seen it but that movie let some scars that STILL haven't quite healed.

It's also an insult to Aronofsky to compare Requiem to LotR =P

What are you talking about, Requim was great and the music was totally sick, even if the soundtrack itself totally sucked. If someone made an AMV with that music I'd DL it like that.

Check out VicBond's Requiem for Excel (I recommend you use Getright, his server blows chunks).

Requiem's scoring and editing is brilliant. The movie is just disturbing as hell.

I heard the full remix version which is over six minutes. Holy Cripes, it was bloody awesome!!!!!!!!!! I loved it. I loved teh original, but I think I like the remix version better. Hopefully the Two Towers will feature more great tracks like this one.

Lol, I was watching Football yesterday during Thanksgiving, and I saw that ad for LOTR, and it took me all day to figure out where I had heard the song before. When I got home to my computer, I turned my Winamp playlist to shuffle, and Lux Aeterna came on. I had my answer :D Now I need that remix!

Hmmph. I can't find the song anywhere. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Could someone give me the full title of the song, and the place they found it?
