I dislike the spanish language, but from the one Mago De Oz song I've heard, it seeems like they had a pretty good bit of musicianship behind them. But I can't remember, I heard it streaming somewhere, so I can't pull it back up and listen to it.

why you dislike the spanish language? you should try listen to the album finisterra or gaia(the firs gaia, the second one is not their best)because, altough the first ones are really good, the best sounds are on those

still nothing in my opinion in the field of metal(the vast vast feild) can beat Meshuggah, Opeth (who i saw live in april 06 zomg), In flames, Slipknot (yes its generic but so good), Edguy, NIN, Five Star Prison Cell (not many have heard of them), Tool , Sepultura, Mudvayne (bow down to the glory that is Ryan the bassist) and Pantera (R.I.P. Jesus(A.K.A. Dimebag)). STill N.O. song currently for me is I by Meshuggah......gasp must listen 2 it now.

Man, I just picked up a bunch of new albums....

Soulfly - Prophecy
Scars of Tomorrow - The Horror of Reality
Devildriver - The Fury of our Makers Hands
Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine
Mastodon - Call of the Mastodon...

So, I got some new music to listen to for a while...
Scars of Tomorrow truly kicks ass though...

I have no doubt that he was a talented guitarist, but come on people... why must everyone make a huge deal out of a musician's death? Dimebag's ben dead for, what, a year and a half? It's time to let go. And comparing him to JESUS?!?!

Ahem, now that I've gotten that off my chest, I shall name three metal bands I like by genre each:

Death Metal
In Flames
Demonic Resurrection
Torchbearer

Power Metal
Sonata Arctica
DragonForce
Kamelot

Black Metal
Mater Monstifera
Tvangeste
Augury (the other one)

Alt/Nu Metal
Slipknot
Disturbed
HeavensDust
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...
