Postby slayerZero » Thu Mar 02, 2006 3:08 pm

So do you like system of a down or not. If you do you know that Chop Suey is one of there best songs but some of you might disagree. I think that chop suey, and hypnotise is there best songs even knowing i like them all. :)

That one song where they didn't play any instruments, or sing.

You just wish you could sell millions of albums based on lyrics that are nonsense stream of conciousness poems and loud guitar playing with a few decent riffs. :O

And don't take that comment against SoaD to mean I dislike them, I own all their albums and listen to them regularly. "Sugar" is still my favorite, though.

Yeah, but you listen to anything. And, yes, I do wish I could sell albums like they do.

Ween make funny songs and Ween are still going, why does nobody talk about Ween?

System of a Down seem like metal's answer to Green Day: radio-friendly music, vague liberal politics in the lyrics, and mostly disowned by purists of their respective genres. I've heard most of Toxicity, and I liked the title track and Aerials more than the others. Serj's singing isn't too bad if he focuses on it a little.

That song is not SOAD. It's Rabbit Joint.

Sigh, when will the confusion end?

If I were to be serious, I would completely agree with this statement. I've also heard Sugar, and some of that was decent.

I like that song where they play really fast, then slow, and then fast again!
Oh wait. That's the recipe for all their songs.

Aerials, Soldier Side (the one on hypnotise, not the intro to mezmerise) and Lonely Day, purely for the shred solo towards the end

THANK YOU!!! Someone finally gets it right!

Anyhow, as far as favorite song goes, I would probably say Aerials or Sad Statue.
