What is needed in music for you to enjoy it?

All right, so your "disrespect" drops, here's the answers:

1) Yes, but it's impeded by the answer to #2.

2) Yes. I spend 45 to 60 hours a week chained either to a desk or to a piece of industrial equipment, plus travel time. This does leave fuck-all time to get out to shows, but I still do the best I can, and being posted to Germany for most of last year meant I could go to Wacken, so it balances out.

3) The format of the question is invalid; I do software support, so I necessarily stare at an LCD screen a lot of the time.

The essay above was written while I was still in the field; when the tools aren't broken, I sit in the office waiting for something to break, and I need to do something to kill time.
