You're joking, right? I think Nirvana's the most overrated band ever. That's what I meant by saying that rock went downhill in the early 90s, because of all that grunge crap.


You may say that but:

1. They have an iconic song
2. The have an iconic frontman
3. They are overrated, but they were damn good when all other music was so awful.
4. Nowardays it is seen to be cool if you [i]don't[i] like Nirvana, I'm not saying this is the reason that you don't like them but it is a trend in younglings today.
5. You proved my last point, you have experianced them in some sort or other. Although of course your experiance is that they are crap.

They're not even close to being my favourite band but I know good (rock) music when I hear it. I am much more of a fan of Britpop, which really did have a massive positive impact (and continues to) on the music in the U.K.
