How classic? I usually have to go with Gustav Holst - "The Planets" but it's from the 1920s, so even though it's orchestral it's not all that 'classic.'

I would like to give the no contest nod to Beethoven's SYmphony No. 9 which may well be the finest piece of music ever written.

I think I will have to agree with you. I have a music box from England that plays that song. It is so catchy.

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is one of the best classical pieces ever, although the song O Fortuna gets a little too much attention, IMO.

I dunno this is a tough one, Mozart always had awesome music but I think I like Beethoven...

So I'm going to put my vote in for Moonlight Sonata.

(but it changes alot.)

if you asked a month ago it would've been Mozarts Requiem
