Sounds interesting, might have to take a look...

np: Darkthrone - Where Cold Winds Blow

I've had Under A Funeral Moon for about two years now and never really got into it...someone recommended A Blaze In The Northern Sky (where that song's from) it so far it's going back better than ...Funeral...

crass- gotcha

found a crass bootleg of one of their shows during their 1984 tour. it was only six dollars at ameba records. great deal, great find. horrible sound quality tho, but it makes great for people who like smashing things.

The Funeral is indeed not one of their best albums, it´s a little bit to simple the best one of´em is indeed their debut "Soulside Journey".

Angra - Hunters and Prey

Funny thing, the whole ep was a very nice piece of music, just like the other Cds (recommend you to buy it). It´s nice happy Power/Prog Rock. One of the only good brasilisan bands I know.

Yeah, as far as 'kvlt tr00' production goes, I didn't only being able to hear the cymbals on the drums was big or clever on Funeral. Just crap. Funny thing was when I was looking to get my first Darkthrone album everyone was all "Get Soulside! Get Northern Sky! Get Funeral!" trust me to pick the duffer out of 'em!

Angra did a great cover of Wuthering Heights, heh :D

np: ManOwaR - Defender

Epic Metal featuring Orson Welles! Love this song...

Listenin' to the song "Boys lie,Girls steal" as of now. But if what you're implying is what music I like to listen to then it's pantera, tendril,Linkin Park,Haji,Slow Roosevelt, and Dokodemodoa.
HARD ROCKIN' BANDS!
I can claim the title as being the first person on a-m-v.org to submit an AMV with the artist KJ-52 on it. Yay. Hahaha.
Where my jello? I need it to go with my Cola, Rice, Puddin, Steak, macoroni, apple, peanut butter, plastic, baking soda, and cheese sandwhich!

Behemoth - Demigod

Very good technical Death Metal from Poland (a bit like Vader). Theres not much left of their former Black Metal Style and the new Songs are all even more complexed than the songs of their last album (Zos kia cultus). Fast, emotional, very expressive and intelligent music, a must have for any (Death) Metalhead. Featuring Karl Sanders (Nile)

I listened to Dream Evil's "Book of Heavy Metal" and couldn't stop laughing. No offense or anything, but the scream right at the beginning spelled it all out.

Nobuo Uematsu- Turks' Theme

I liked FF7 but really liked the turks. The fingersnaps and the mellow feel to the tune is great.

Anime Toonz Volume 2 feat. Maria Kawamura (Sony/Jellybean Recordings)

This came out recently as a followup to Anime Toonz which featured Kikuko Inoue ("Belldandy" et al). Not really my type of music, but the remix of "Catch You Catch Me" (from CCS) is cute. And the Astro Boy theme in what sounds like breakbeat - too weird.

These tracks may be useful if you're looking to make an AMV with a different sound that is still related to the original anime. The tracks are are remixes of:

Astro Boy opening
S.B. Yamato opening
Popolocrois opening (2 mixes)
El Hazard OAV2 opening
Dragonball Z opening
Macross DYRL theme (2 mixes)
Love Hina opening
X ending
CCS opening

The CD includes 18 short 8-second tracks where Kawamura speaks single words, short phrases, or laughs in the usual super-cute anime-girl voice.

Maria Kawamura voiced Naaga in the Slayers OAVs along with many other roles.

I have a Behemoth rehearsal from '94, w00t me.

Vader - The Sea Came In At Last

I downloaded the new album. I feel so cheap. It's good so far but I'm not sure if it's something I'd pay money for. Maybe in time.

Goddammit, we need more threads here. I'm hungry for a kebab too...
