Anybody heard of Eva Cassidy?

She's a mystery singer so far, but she's getting some popularity in Eastern US.

She has the best new version of "What a wonderful world" and "Over the Rainbow." Old version being the classics sang by Louis Armstrong.

You should definetely listen to those two songs in particular. As for teh other's, well, they just weren't my type.

I've heard some of her music and it's really nice. She's a great songwriter, like Allison Krauss, Beth Orton or Emmylou Harris.

Didn't she die 5 years ago?

Yeah, it's a sad story. She died from cancer.

It's taken several years for her to be recognized and her song's just to become noticed in the industry.
