Scary stuff :O [some nonlinear Halloween music]

Use this thread for what you will if you feel like posting some Haloween music or some funky nonlinear-format music, but here's a little something from me:

For those of you interested in some creepy weirdness...

Download, unzip (if you dare, hehe). All it is is a little exe file with an attached database.

Above is something recorded on Haloween 4 years ago by ProjeKct X (the band now formally known as the current King Crimson), and it uses a funky little player based on DirectX.

On the surface, just some neat little nuovo-electronic Halloween music. But try running it a few times over... and it pulls out a few tricks (hint: non-linear music).

Hehe... fancy. 8)

Kc in ProjeKcts is that, yea, but not quite. The ProjeKcts (Projects 1, 2, 3, 4 and ProjeKct X) are separate groups with their own unique lineups that are musically very different from their origin. In a nutshell, they're just KC with all the history erased, set loose to play around with all the technology they please. Most of what they do is improvised.

Technically, ProjeKcts 2, 3 and X are still around today, and 3 is actively performing as themselves.

Well.. whatever. Download, listen if you want. The music style is familiar, but what impressed me is the technology behind the file... man, all those possibilities and it's not even known much, nevermind taken advantage of! Just goes to show you how backward the music industry is these days...
