Trent is still a wuss, in my book, and he will always be a wuss. ALWAYS.

Now, Raymond Watts, he can move you. Listen to "Save Me". Mellow, sad, and lamenting, without the pussy, near-tears sound Trent would go for.

Still, all of this is irrelevant, really. There shouldn't be in-fighting among the rivetheads, industrial enthusiasts, and gothy types. I apologize for starting this little tussle - I must've had a bad day or something.

Much respect, Kthulhu.

I'd rather listen to a cowboy homosexual than the creator of industrial emo.

So youd rather listen to Kid Rock?

:P

Some of NIN songs are good, like Dead Souls (from The Crow ST) Just Like You Imagined and Closer, but it all sounds pretty much the same anyway.

I've heard a bit of KMFDM, they actually sound pretty cool.

Their newest album, while charged with political content, kicks ass. Faster, harder, with the good, older sound.

I dunno, World War III just doesn't do it for me. Personally, I'd recommend "Adios", "Angst", or "Symbols" for the best KMFDM listening.
Kawaita hitomi de dareka na itekure -The Real Folk Blues, Yoko Kanno
I like it! -Indiscipline, King Crimson

I'd cop out and say "Retro", but I'm a lazy bitch.

While you're at HMV, you can get classic Ministry albums for cheap (about $10 each). Go pick up "The Mind Is a Terrible Taste" and "The Land of Rape and Honey".

While you're there I also heartily recommend ohGr. The new one, "SunnyPsyOp" is great, but "Welt" is an instant classic.

Cliched, yes, but I think "Nihil" is probably the most accessible KMFDM album. "Xtort" is good, too.

"Adios" and "Attak" are the weakest, in my book.

Excessive Force is good. It's like KMFDM having a bitchy day. And you gotta love those cheesy sampled guitar chords.

That's what I said, I like Puke and I'm also entitled to my own opinion.
SOMEONE just HAD to make a big deal out of my NIN sucks comment (not you Propyro).

I like about a handful of NIN songs, the rest are just not my thing.

NIN Alternatives (not that I dislike NIN):

Assemblage 23
Mesh
Razed In Black
VAST
Project Pitchfork (yes, goth, but still very awesome)
Das Ich

I'm not gonna bother commenting on others opinions, since that's what they are, opinions.

Anyways I like NIN, along with ministry, skinny puppy, wumpscut is good, I haven't heard much (just one CD) but I liked what I heard. I heard some KMFDM stuff here and there, but I don't own any. probably should.
Back in the day Trent worked with ministry(or members of) and they were called "1000 homo DJ's". Listen to supernaught (sp?).

I'm big into industrial music but I listen to anything I think sounds good. Other crap in my collection of sounds, portishead, UNKLE, radiohead, Bjork, white/Rob zombie, B boys, RZA, and assorted others.
