That is quite weird that it was in a discount bin. Its not as if they are obscure either. Being the other half of At the Drive In after the split.

well i had never heard of them before, and just saw that head sitting on a plate thats on the cover, so gave it a quick listen and took it home. One of my better random CD shopping experiences.

I wasn´t saying they weren´t obscure to rip on you just as part of my suprise of their being in a discount bin.

there's a difference between discount and clearence, perhaps you're getting them confused.

New bands and artists are CONSTENTLY on sale. It was probably in the discount bin to get people to buy it, so more people would learn about the band, not because they suck.

i never said they sucked ... i think they're pretty damn good. Just that it was really weird to see a brand new cd tossed in a bin full of rejects from the 80's.

:? It seems that everyone I run into has never heard of Queen. I would think that they are pretty well known. Here's what people say to me while im listening to my iPod.

"Hey what you listenen to?"
"Queen.."
"whoz queen"
"they sing "we are the champions"
"o! I know that song."

They were one of my favorite bands.

Bohemian Rhapsody

You must be running into all the wrong people. I have trouble finding people that haven't heard of 'em. Not that I'm looking. :?

Anyone here listen to Dropkick Murphy's, out of curiosity?

Oh, and I'm not totally sure how obscure they may be, so I thought I'd ask: Alien Sex Fiend. I would ask about Killing Joke, but if they are in any way obscure I'd have to wonder (more) about this world.
