and none of that marilyn manson/tool/fear factory/nin/linkin park CRAP!
i mean good songs. dont mention anything popular or has played on radio (the bands, i mean)

mine would have to be:

"elegy" by as i lay dying
"falling upon deaf ears" as i lay dying
"when good dogs do bad things" by dillinger escape plan
"the bending" by hopesfall
"the best of me" by underoath
"memphis will be laid to waste" by norma jean
"you'd be cuter if i shot you in the face" by curl up and die
"botchla" by poison the well

If you dont like any of those songs, you are retarted beyond recognition. understood?

 My choice of music is a bit harder:

Anything by Slayer
Anything by Hatebreed
Pounded into Dust / Skull Full of Maggots - Cannibal Corpse
Anything by Obituary
Anything by Sick of It All
Then there's some Rikers Songs
Black Flag - American Waste
Black Flag - Slip it on in
D.R.I. - Gun Control
Ministry - Just One Fix
Pretty much all of Testaments songs...

I can go on and on

Ohh, and Deicide

Yeah, because Slayer, Hatebreed, and Cannibal Corpse are so unknown. Go listen to some Emperor or Nile. Or Opeth, but they're pretty well known. And Emperor is relatively well known, but not Nile. And there's Dark Tranquility, Within Temptation, and After Forever. After Forever is more along the lines of Tristania and Trail of Tears but they're still decently heavy.

Oh hush. :P

It's not our fault most good metal is obscure. Anyway, I love Silverchair but they're hardly obscure.

Pailhead - Ministry with Ian Mackaye from Fugazi
Run Level Zero - really good techno-industrial
Rx - Ogre and Martin Atkins doing some creepy minimalist stuff

Sister Machine Gun - Loser - the best anti-MTV anthem ever
If nothing else, harsh noises get your attention.
