the ataris wrote a song for a girl that was dying in australia. She sent her letter to them telling her her story by mail, so they had to send their letter back by mail with their cd that had the song on it for her. She was 17 - 19 or something like that. Since it was intnational mail they don't know if it got there in time. That's pretty sad.

Hey BigshotSpike, I was reading ur post a couple of threads back about X-Japan, and it definitely stirred me.. I'm not sure what I mean by that. :lol: But it made me remember, I made an AMV with X-Japan - "Endless Love" as the music. This piano version of "Forever Love" is stunning, and it's sad to hear after listening to the original so many times. Despite my inexperience with j-pop, even-more-so with j-rock, I'm very moved by this band's music.. and it makes me sad sometimes with everything goin' on in life.

FFviii fans - if you like sentimental mushy-crap, then find me in the a-m-v.org chatroom and i'll send the vid to u. ;)

"Strawberry Gashes" by Jack Off Jill and "Adam's Song" by Blink 182 are sad to me because they are about suicide. "My Friend Peter" by Alkaline Trio is too because it reminds me of Peter, who died last summer (he wasn't even in ninth grade yet). "Only Time" by Enya and "Time of Your Life" by Green Day make my friends and me want to cry because we heard the first one on the memorial for 9/11 our school held, and the second...just because. x_x;; "Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude" by Bach is a medium; it's not sad, but not happy either. ^_^;;
