Alright, I'm looking for more:

music. Post lists. Stuff like:

Grandaddy
Godspeed, You Black Emperor!
The Silver Mount Zion
Saxon Shore
The Postal Service
Death Cab for Cutie

come on, I need more.

POST AWAY!

how about apostrophe?

these are some old mp3's, they're about a year and a half old, and the band's changed it's bass player and style quite a bit since then. Much more blues oriented rather then psychedelic now.

The group has an ep, which i think is called sound scapes or some thing along those lines. my friend is the drummer and i've been bugging him to make a copy of the Ep for me, but he's lazy and fogets a lot. But other then brampton, these guys are pretty much unknown as far as i know. i haven't seen any of these guys in a long tims so things may have changed since then.

And a song for each one.

Lake Trout - Bliss
The Fucking Champs - Air On A G-String
Moss Icon - Gravity

I'm just getting started, indie-wise. These are some bands I'm digging so far. Definitely Dismemberment Plan, too, if you haven't heard their stuff.

Well, from who you listed, I think you would enjoy Windy and Carl, Tarentel, Rodan, The Bevis Frond, Low, Rex, Molasses, Bedhead, Quickspace, Ghost.

Heh... good list you got there! Well, Godspeed You! and Silver Mt. Zion have two other bands:

Fly Pan Am
Do Make Say Think

Both great... Okay... random list of coolness

Modest Mouse
Pedro the Lion
The Flaming Lips
Tortoise
The Sea and Cake
Mogwai
Sigur-Ros
Starflyer 59

And for kicks, EVERYTHING on constellation records is pretty cool

hope this helps!

If it's post rock you like, then you absolutly must check out anything by the band Slint. Specific songs: Washer, and Breadcrumb trail.
This band practically invented post rock, and if you're into Godspeed...then I think these guys will be right up your alley.

As for some other bands you might dig based on the bands you put up.
My Morning Jacket
Chavez
Tortoise
Broken Social Scene
Gastr Del Sol
Mogwai
Sea and Cake

Hope you like some of these guys
