Indiebitching aside, most of this thread focuses on rock/punk/metal.

My current favorite for harmony is Moxy Fruvous - River Valley. Beautiful harmony in that one.


I tell ya, those harmonies in "Kick In The Ass" are right up there... :P

if you really like vocal harmonies, give a cappella (all voice, no instrumental accompaniment) a try.
if you want rock music, there are many college a cappella groups that do rock songs performed by other artists. my favorite is UPenn's Off the Beat. They've done songs by the Chili Peppers, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, Alanis Morrisette, and so on.
