I didn't really enjoy the vocals on those tracks. Musically it was great and certainly has Iced Earth all over it! But Ripper doesn't seem to fit the style Iced Earth has developed over the years (especially during the Matt years).
I'm still buying the album when it is released though.

The Thrill of The Kill Is Alive and Well!
My spirit begins to rise into the heavenly skies Just to be shunned away by you Now all I want is to die No streets of gold in the sky And I wash my hands of you...
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

The Thrill of The Kill Is Alive and Well!
I miss Matt and I will always think he was the perfect Iced Earth singer but I feel that Tim Owens deserves a chance. I listened to the music and I enjoy it I feel in time if Tim Owens continues to be the singer the band will get better. Honestly I am optimistic about Iced Earth's future, I think Ripper might bring them to another level vocal wise.
he's a solo act, him and his accoustic guitar. Tho he just came out with a new Cd where he plugged in and got a bassist, and a drummer.
Anyways, the details on him arn't importent.
If you've kept tabs on what's mainstream through out the past 10 years you'll of heared of Dashboard Confessional. He won several grammies (sp?) or what not.
