I need some Help...Looking for Epic Instrumental songs

Postby leathelanime » Sat Jun 21, 2003 6:52 pm

I've seen alot of Amv's out their that has these songs that just promotes an epic Feel (Fluxmeister to name a creator) and I really wanna step up my Amv game and try out one of these songs....but being that I dont buy soundtracks or listen to music outside of the Rock area...im sorta in the Dark...If someone could point me in the direction o a few Artists that make instrumental songs with an Epic vibe I would be pleased :D

Well, Apocalyptica for one, but you already know about them if you've seen some of Fluxy's videos.

Kamelot has an interesting instrumental piece on Karma. It's track 1, Regalis Apertura.

Look into the soundtrack for the 13th Warrior and Conan the Barbarian.

weak stuff so far....

Try Amethyst by Yoshiki. It's the most emotional piece of music I've ever heard.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by epic. If it's like epic motion picture epic, try the FFVII Main Theme from the FF7 Orchestral Soundtrack, or the main Morrowind Theme from Morrowind.

I mentioned some of these songs on another post while back, similar to this one. I just can't think of any other better songs with such astonishing vibes. :)

Like the ever infamous Moogwai - Viola (Armin Van Buuren Remix) beyond what words can explain, NOTHING compaires...the best.

CJ Stone - Shining Star (Rising Star Remix) the original is quite good as well. very avant garde too.

Gouryella - Walhalla (Armin Van Buuren Remix) another Armin remix. This guy can take any song it seems, and make it into a true masterpeice.

Thats all I can think of as of right now. In my opinion, these songs are trully "a must" for your music collection.
I will never forget Shining Star by CJ Stone
