I already agreed with you on that, I ramble to try and make sure everyone understands me, so dude, you don't want ME repeating myself.

To most people, sound is not enough. And that's to MOST, not some. That's why it takes a lot to look over the fact that rap comes off an converyor belt and still enjoy it. Infact, I think most rap fans hate this about rap, but just take these coinstant thrashings because what else are they suppossed to do? It's not like if they get super offended by us rappers are going to start writing music.

Rap is good for one thing and one thing only. That is driving, because you dont really pay attention. Its just to pump the base.

What do u muhfuckas consider rap? Sure there are some "Dr. Seuss Mother Goose" nursery rhymin', no talent niggas; "I wanna be a gangsta niggas;" and "I got mo' bitches and money and jewelry than any muhfucka" niggas; but there is also pure, unadulterated hip hop. I mean Nas' "I Can," Wu Tang Clan's "CREAM," Eric B. and Rakim's "Microphone Fiend" and "Paid in Full," K-OS' "Superstarr pt. Zero," anything by KRS-ONE (whose name means Knoledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone), or Public Enemy, or even 3rd Base and the Beastie boys (who can play instruments, btw). Listen to the real shit and don't judge hip hop by the nasty ass outer coating.

Eminem's "Lose Yourself" made the Top VH1 list as the single most important single of the past 25 years.

So you see, either Vh1 also sucks, or the world's not worth saving.

bwth, rap on.

Music is a form of expression. In every genre there are bad groups and songs, there are no exceptions. Music is playing an instrument, but if you aren't creative then you only think an instrument is what you find in a store to buy. Your feet, hands and whatever else you can use can be an instrument, even the voice. That's why if someone can't sing, no one is going to listen to them cause they sound horrible. However, music can also have no voice, like classical which can be very complex.

Rap is music, a form of expression through words that only needs as much as someone using there hands or lips to form a beat. Most people who hate rap are either three things: Racist, Old school soul/funk/jazz/blues fans (which is were most if not all of rock gets influence from) or they like some rap not all but more hate the amount of attention crap rap gets.

Pop is music, but most artist aren't musicians, rather they are entertainers and for that they do work their asses off to put on a good show. Its equal to TV wrestling, which is not real fighting but not anyone can do it.

Techno is music, I'm not gonna try and explain. I do listen to it but its hard to explain. It's like the new age classical music without the amount of complexity or dedication. Club music, its use is to get people moving and it does. Like the drums of war.

crude but good point. For instance, 50 cent is quantity while black eyed peas is quality. Also another good one to add to that list, two actually is: Tupac - Brenda's got a baby and The Genius/Gza - B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) life is a test may we quest the universe
and through my research, i felt the joy and the hurt
the first shall be last and the last shall be first...

But Kracus, Rap doesn't teake a lot of skill, AT ALL. There's probably a kid in every high school that can do just as good as Eminem or 50 Cent, because it's all they do all day is rap to themselves.

So ok, it doesn't take a lot to do, but they're still expressing themselves /end sarcasm

if you read the stuff I typed, Rappers arn't even writing this shit, they're snot responcable for ANYTHING. They get paid by majoring clothing companies and such to use their lyrics that promote their products, then they have a professional song writer write actual MUSIC to rap to. Most people don't even like rap, just the music these rappers rap to, and almost none of them write their own music. Just like brittney Spears.

Brittney Spears Fan wrote: This new Brittney song has such a tottaly rad cool beat to it I can dance too!!!

Hor does that make HER skilled? She doesn't write her actual music, and not many rappers do either.

So just what are they expressing Kracus? They don't have a hand in creating any of their music :?

Im sure that people who like rap might say the same thing about Rock "music for angry kids". everybody has different tastes depending of their ethnic backgrounds or maybe the type of culture the person grew up. Maybe somebody might say that rap doesnt take that much skill well its a form of art and expression and i think it deserves some respect like Rock, Techno and any other music.

well, like I've also said, some fans don't care that the artist isn't credible. Like most rap fans, they just enjoy the music.

It's fine by me, but just don't go around syaing how skilled these people are.
