Pop
Rap
RnB
Rap
Rap
Rap.....you know, they only call it "rap" coz the "C" fell off the typewriter.

Some rap is good, like Eminem, but most is just a bunch of fucktards goin on about "homies" "bitches" "blunts", "yo my nigga", etc etc etc. Just coz u black, don't mean you can RAP, hear me?

Might I recommend Aesop Rock? Only rap artist I've ever spent money on (to buy his album Labor Days).

Recommended songs:

Daylight
No Regrets
1,000 Deaths
Flash Flood
Shovel

He has some good stuff. The rare acoustic version (not the Any Given Thursday or Room For Squares versions) of "3x5" is excellent. "St. Patrick's Day." "Victoria." And "No Such Thing" ain't that bad.

"One More Day" by Diamond effing Rio. It's this ungodly sappy country song. My mom listens to it several times a day.

ARG.

Repetition is the key thing with annoying songs... you can get annoyed by anything if you're made to listen to it too many times.

You have my eternal sympathy. I live in a house full of country fans, I feel your pain

Can add anything by George Strait to that list. Oh hell, add 99% of country to it. The only "country" groups I can actually tolerate are the Warren Brothers, and SheDaisy (because most of the stuff they write is freaking hysterical. I'm actually considering an AMV to SheDaisy's "Get over Yourself." Shoot me. Shoot me now)

One country artist you might wanna check out is Cledus T. Judd, though. That guy's the Weird Al Yankovic of country, and there hasn't been a song of his yet that hasn't made me laugh out loud. Thanks to him, I can't even remember the original lyrics to "Hotel California"
-- Rachel the Demon, Resident Quoter of Obscure Nostalgia
"Great. He can pick his teeth when he's done with us!" - Marina, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Current AMV: Somewhere On This Night
