Its been building up for about a week now, as with Jason leaving the band (i think thats his name) All the poor boy wanted to do was work with other people, expand creatively and the leash on his neck from other members, especially Lars was just to strong. How unfortunate what music can make people become.
Thanks Guys

I don't think you need tto worry about Jason Newsted. Between Voivod and Ozzy, he's doing okay for himself right now.

Did i get it? yes. Do i call it a metallica album? na not really. It is techincally one but i just forget that metallica ever made it, it makes listening to St. Anger alot easier. Much like a few other metallica albums its more the fact of what metallica used to be that hurts more than anything. There will be no one like metallica, sadly that includes post black album metallica. However, it is an alright album. Mind you, alright, not great. I was speaking with a friend who said that course their stuff wont be that great since they don't have Burton or Nustang (is that the right spelling of that megadeath guy?), though they made Justice for All after those two had either died/ and or left. So, eh i don't see much of an excuse. Perhaps if Hetfield watched another thing like Johnny Got his Gun by Dalton Trumbo (which was the basis for and the scenes during One music video) than he might come up with something. My advice? don't buy it, just dl the St. Anger song and leave it be.

Dave Mustaine.

It was my understanding that while he did some songwriting, he left before the first album was released.

Of course, I never really followed Metallica, so I could be off on this.

Ok OK, I'll admit it, it's all a matter of taste. Namely, that Metallica fans have poor taste in music    But seriously folks...

Not everybody's ready for Skinny Puppy.

Trust me, I've been trying to wean all my friends of metal and onto industrial for years, and it just isn't happening. Maybe Metallica is like crack - you know it's bad for you, but you always want another hit.

Nearly tricked them with Ministry, though.

Well, I finally listened to some of it.

It's better than load/reload, which is the same is saying it's better than N*Sync - sure, it's good to know, but it shouldn't have to be said.

Honestly though, they sound tired. Not playing the same song over and over tired, but physically tired. This thing left me fucking depressed.

Seriously, Frantic-tic-tic-tic-tic-tic-toc nearly made me cry. I thought James was going to have a coronary.
