I don't think I know anything more cracked-out than "Alberquerque" (sp?).

Or maybe the "Fingertips" songs by They Might Be Giants. ...okay, a lot of TMBG songs are whacky... maybe "No One Knows My Plan", a lovely samba(?) tune about a psycho killer. It's so catchy!

And I'll throw Moxy Fruvous' "King of Spain" on for a relaxed, laid-back sort of cracked-out. (Someday I'll do a video to that song... sommmmeeeeedddaaaayyyyy...)

just weird lyrics

Postby RBFkiod » Mon Apr 21, 2003 7:23 pm

all the At the Drive-In songs are really weird, for example one of their songs had, "fences with swtiches turn them on, moats of your homes poured salt on these slugs, mugshot..." and it just gets weirder, they still rock though.
also modest mouse is damn weird, for example: "uh-oh down low I am not who I want to be I probably will not ever be I drove my car June 14th I drove it right down the street I had not had any sleep so I ate Minithins to stay awake you crashed your car right into me there was two days I didn't sleep uh-oh downlow I am not who I want to be I probably will not ever be I took a trip down to California karma payment plan my car broke down out in the street the radiator sprung a leak I met this guy he said he could help me I'm on the karma payment plan we went to his house and did some speed he said karma would pay for this deed he got it fixed and he started to scare me I ditched him eventually and came back for the car the next morning I'm on the karma payment plan I went to LA the next day I got jacked in a real bad way I cant tell you its a long story" -Karma's Payment by Modest Mouse

'revolution number 9' when played backward
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
