Just got tickets

Postby Cardinal.jpg » Thu Mar 13, 2003 11:05 am

I was just informed of the purchase of two tickets for me and my girlfriend to this:

http://www.hurricane.de/hurricaneneu/in ... =_englisch

It is going to be totally amazing, I haven't seen a line up that has blown my mind so much. Let alone have tickets to such an event. Now all I have to do is wait painstakingly for the next three and half months.

Looks like a pretty good show! Bosstones + Millencolin = great-o.

I've got my own kinda thing like that going on...

And I know Yellowcard and Home Grown haven't been listed yet for Friday, but they're on for it. Third year on this... gets better every year (especially since Good Charlotte's not here this year! Huzzah! You can keep them! :P). Hell, this isn't even really a "show," anymore... it's more turned into a punk-rock convention... hehe. There's a "dealer's room" upstairs above the three stages, etc. Fantastic :D :D.

Millencolin and Bostones will probably be the bands I am least likely to see. I am more in it for the:
Radiohead
Björk
Apocalyptica
Siguer Ros
Goldfrapp
Massive Attack (who I am seeing tonight)

I have seen Millencolin earlier this year and they were the big av. Bostones I might see but only if time and energy permits.

Umm...

Danko Jones
somewhat heavy alt with some punk elements... I guess. I'm not really good with categorizing bands...

My fave song from them is 'Bounce', but I haven't heard much from their second album, 'Born A Lion'. Danko is very charasmatic... but I never personally seen them live. They played @ my college months before I came there. Yup over here they play Colleges and bars... overseas they are in festivals and touring well...

I dont really like yellowcard, but i really like how the incorporate the violins. The guys voice is really whiney though, typical pop punk voice.

as for that other tour, i would want to see, Zwan, Radiohead, and Coldplay.
I will obey the Forum rules for sig image size.
