A little help

I've been searching for weeks, if not, months for the right type of song for an AMV.

It needs to be slow-paced, but not too slow, it needs to be about memories, but go from sad to happy during the song, it needs to be warm, yet cold, it needs to be happy, yet full with bitter sorrow.

A song that has a mixture of almost any emotion a person can have. This mixed with some flashbacks will create the AMV I'm envisioning.

Anyone care to make a suggestion?

The lyrics might be a little too specific (though I've thought they could be put well to something like Saikano, Voices of a Distant Star, or 5cm/s), but what about "Beloved" by VNV Nation?

.. one final thought and I'll drop this subject:
I've often toyed with how Michael Jackson stole the music from Lodoss Wars
and turned 新居昭乃 (Akino Arai) - 風と鳥と空~ Reincarnation (Kaze to Tori to Sora)
into his Earth Song! "The parallels will sink-in over time unless you don't have an ear for music."

"Beloved" by VNV Nation is an interesting song. The beat is just a tad bit too fast for what I'm looking for. The lyrics are fitting, though.

Whereas Melodies of Life, is a bit too slow.

I know I'm probably looking for something impossible. But thanks for trying, I really appreciate it.
