Glad you liked it! Yeah, almost nobody has seen the show because not only is it not licensed, but the fansub was only completed recently, and the R2's are not only expensive but they came out only a couple of years ago and then went out of print! I tried to make kind of an overview/trailer type vide...

That's a good idea. I don't usually send my videos to multiple cons but with this one I'm making an exception because I want to promote the series. I'll probably send it to AWA Expo as well (the new version, sans Fersen).

Otakon amv - Versailles Paradise

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=38283 This is the Rose of Versailles (aka Lady Oscar) video that played in the Drama category in the Otakon AMV contest. (extreme mortification at winning best in show & then missing awards ceremony) Unfortunately I tried to juggle daddy duty & con going in the same weekend (and without a car) and ended up only being able to attend for part of Saturday. Considering the quality and work that went into all the ot...

Huh. I really didn't think this video had a snowball's chance in hell.

Congrats to all.

Tom
This was fun to watch on a big screen in the dark. Very trippy & spooky.

Jingoro said they played a block of depressing videos at AWA at around 4 a.m. Sunday morning including this one of mine: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_editvideo_step1.php?vid_id=1582 I don't know what the other ones were, though. I'd like to think of this video as more 'melancholy'...

Most contests will allow for anime-themed games (i.e. the FF series, etc) to be used as footage. However, the CGI from the early FF games isn't the clearest in the world. And even with FFX, you can only watch so many vids before you've seen it all... -DOKool It's mostly FF that is overused/saturate...

I'm actually enjoying it more on re-viewing as I pick up on the variations and progressions. Something like listening to Philip Glass. My wife who majored in Philosophy was greatly impressed. This video made me think about how we consume and demand ever increasing amounts of high speed visual stimul...

When I freeze framed it I was surprised to see that the code sample is not an endless loop. In fact it ends whenever the user chooses to end it. There's a message in there somewhere...
