Re: Double (or more) layering in Premiere
When I make two layers of video or even three, and i have one of the video in a certain graphic..(think Euphoria), I then add motion to the graphic to make it fly across the screen, but when I add the motion, it makes the edges of the graphic fuzz, and it gets all choppy Define "choppy". It could d...

Hmm... it really depends on what you plan to do I guess. In my DDR track it wasn't really that hard because the live action was "confined" inside monitors, frames and stuff. To make it look better I did apply some filtering though: mainly gaussian noise, another identical layer at 15% ~ 20% transpar...

Re: Story Driven or Effects Driven AMV's? Ranting & Ravi
Personally I like special affects driven amv's, since all your doing in a story driven one is re-doing the series in under 5 minutes to a song you like or thinks that fits. I do not agree. I usually like to manipulate the situations in the anime to make a new story (which is not the one of the anim...

Re: ANIME BOSTON 2004 - AMV PANEL TOPICS
We had one panel last year that was a lot of general technical questions, thus we're making that the General panel. At this point it looks like we must sacrifice half an hour in order to get into Panel 1, so the distribution of technical/theoretical info may need to be revised... Well... letting th...

Re: An artistic video you may not have considered...
Best Artistic will likely see a lot of votes given (very justly) to Nightowl Pictures, Studio Gaijin etc etc, but here's a video which I think is gorgeously artistic but in a different sort of way: After the Game of Love by Turboneko (Marco) Gorgeous compositing, tons of class - this works so well ...

Have you tried the noise effect? I guess that with a bit of zooming, blurring and manipulation it could look the way you want. At least, it is what I used for my Utena/DDR video to give a "video" look to the sequences playing in the TV... but wait a minute, that was after effects :P Hmmm.... I am pr...

Completely agree with the previous posts: go for it. First, the song it's not going to be used for the next two years (given that the project will continue that far), second: why should you be considered a wannabe? I don't quite understand. BTW... any chance of knowing this "secret" song? I am kinda...
