I simply believe that discussion around a particular video should be based around its actual editing skill/quality etc., very little of which was actually happening (a bit more is now). Bingo. I think part of the dues for entering Pro is to put some effort into judging and give each video a fair sh...

I don't think it's fair to just smack down the 26 minute video like that. Is it self indulgent? Maybe. But can't that be be said of a lot of amv's? Whether the video appealed to you or not, it's clear that the creator put a hell of a lot of work and craft into it, and I think it deserves a fair crit...

As far as additional award categories go, it shouldn't be hard to cull the list. Something like: count the number of videos that are nominated to the category by a majority of reviewers. Rank the categories accordingly. Then only add X additional categories, whichever ones had the most videos nomina...

There may have been some that could have been *called* instrumental, but none where I think that really fits. I rather wish we had "no award" as a specific voting option. I'm just not nominating or voting for anything in instrumental. Same for dance.... My problems with finding enough candidates ar...

I'm kind of glad Graven Images won though. He spent a lot of time on his Arjuna video and it is very good also. :) Thanks. I did spend a lot of time, but mostly because I'm just slow. :? I was very surprised to win Instrumental, I thought yours would take it for sure. I think I went back and...

Very very nice. Had a very heartfelt and warm feeling that fits the anime well.
I was really moved. It's a little unfortunate that my video to the same source was played so soon before it at the VAT awards but your video is so strong that it didn't really matter.

Congratulations!

I was happy to see it won best instrumental, this was deserved :) Damn, I'm speechless. Coming from you that means a lot. You should know your Arjuna vid was played during Iron Chef to a nice big crowd, and you also got a staff award for it. So it's all good. And thank you for the op, it was longes...
