I don't think it's fair to just smack down the 26 minute video like that. Is it self indulgent? Maybe. But can't that be be said of a lot of amv's? Whether the video appealed to you or not, it's clear that the creator put a hell of a lot of work and craft into it, and I think it deserves a fair crit...

As far as additional award categories go, it shouldn't be hard to cull the list. Something like: count the number of videos that are nominated to the category by a majority of reviewers. Rank the categories accordingly. Then only add X additional categories, whichever ones had the most videos nomina...

There may have been some that could have been *called* instrumental, but none where I think that really fits. I rather wish we had "no award" as a specific voting option. I'm just not nominating or voting for anything in instrumental. Same for dance.... My problems with finding enough candidates ar...
