Re: The AnimeUSA 2012 Thread
This is my video's contest premiere. Hope it goes well against the vets... and I hope I submitted it properly. I always worry until I get things confirmed with ftp.

Re: My Freeze Ray/Phone/Microwave (Name Subject to Change)
I think the gradient is too short so maybe bring it in towards the center a little bit as well as make it so the edges aren't as hard as well, making it look more murky and cloudy. Just a quick thing I did in photoshop to illustrate what I'm thinking of: Quoted Image converted to link: http://www.p...

Re: My Freeze Ray/Phone/Microwave (Name Subject to Change)
The whitish edges during the dream sequences could've used a bit of work but, overall, nice job. I like it. First off, thank you. Second off, I wanted to ask what could have made the white edges better, for future reference? You had me at Dr. Horrible. This was awesome, I just re-watched the whole ...

My Freeze Ray/Phone/Microwave (Name Subject to Change)
Video:
Stein's;Gate and Dr. Horrible. It had to be done.
On another topic, this is my first time rotoscoping, and I think I managed to avoid the pitfalls most people deal with. Please enjoy.

Re: The Otakon 2012 Thread: AMV Contest Rules are Live
Well, balls. I'd hoped after doing well at Anime Boston, and after all the bad stuff I heard about comedy this year, that I'd manage to get in with my AMV hell idea. That's a shame.

Great. I'm in comedy.
Mixed feelings on this. Crossing my fingers that mine was one of the good ones.
Has it been mentioned anywhere when the finalists will be announced?

Re: The Anime Boston prescreenings
Or we could all just make the AMVs we really want to and hope that other people like them too. I'm assuming that's what we all did anyway, right? I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to pander to the audience with my AMV hell idea, but I more did it 'cause I thought I had good ideas for it, and want...

Re: The Anime Boston prescreenings
Also, this is the first con I've submitted to in a long time that's felt like it's had this much community involvement, which I love. Most other anime convention forums are dead when it comes to the AMV contest. It's nice to see that this one's very much alive. The local editors (myself included) h...
