Grats to everyone who won. Especially glad to see Sierra Lorna win a few, as her vids are super awesome and I'm still in awe (her sister too... they're too god =_=). Also good to see AMV Hell 3... was highly expected, and I'm glad it got what it well deserves. Good job guys!

I did try this, but it was somewhat laggy for my computer. How much RAM do you have? What version of Premiere (or whatever program you use) do you have?
Update: I looked at the guides on the site and downloaded and installed AMVApp, and I'm working with the Huffyuv 2.1.1 codec. It's got good quality and exports quickly, but it still creates too large of a file for me. I only have about 10 GB to spare, so does anyone know of another codec that create...
do not edit with xvid/divx... this is the exact reason why i tell people not to work with compressed sources. It works, then it doesn't >.< you should convert them to a lossless codec or use avisynth. Pwolf I don't really have enough room on my computer to convert lossless, I don't think... good to...
Hey guys, I've got a huge favor to ask of those who know what the hell they're doing. >.> Basically, my computer is weird with Premiere (my version is 6.5 because I'm cheap and don't want to buy any of the new ones >.>). Aside from the constant freezing and crashing it's been working fairly well, or...
Eheh... maybe I should elaborate a little. you can always ask him to find the "correct" clip to replace it with... but if you learn your clean up then it shouldnt matter either way O.o This was the problem. I saved the chats we had, and I tried rereading them to remember exactly what he suggested, b...
One of the #1 videos was a Naruto vid wasn't it? lol [go scorpions!] At any rate, don't edit for other people... Plain and simple... I do dedicate videos to people who I think have been important in both life and amv career but nobody has a right to tell me how I EDIT... Generally this is...
I would like the community's help with a recent problem I've had. A friend of mine basically said, "Hey, you should make a Naruto and Sasuke video to [this song]," and recommended about six or seven clips for certain parts ("and when it says 'eye', you should show a picture of the Sharingan"). I tho...
Pwn! Thanks. The guy who wrote the opinion on that vid said it had a "heart", which I was shooting for, but I guess I put in more heart than I thought >.> Oh well, the more the better. Thanks again! P.S. Check out my other AMV for a more fast-paced action Naruto vid! Also have one on Rock Lee, but i...
Wow. Nice eye; I didn't notice that at all O_O Thanks for the compliment though. And yeah, divx doesn't take long fading+lots of action well. Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey guys, I suddenly had another idea for a music video and in a surprise move made another one in about a week X_X Rough work. Anyway, it's about the characters in Naruto and how they could live a better life; here's the link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=51452 Op...
Hey guys, I finally got around to uploading all those videos that I made in the past (T1 connection! I love college). I also recently made a new Naruto music video, which focuses on battles in which Naruto uses Kyuubi. It's my first try at using effects, so feel free to leave a comment about that. H...
Also, the only difference between the files (based on the Properties from the Clip Window in Premiere) is that the one without pixels is 24 bit pixel depth and the one with pixels is 16 bit pixel depth. However, Premiere won't allow me to change Depth in the Video Settings of the Project.
It's certain files using the Divx 5.05 codec. Other files of the same type work fine. The weird thing is, those same files also worked with no problems the last time I made a music video. In fact, the picture I showed in my first post is from the exact same source file as my previous music vid (the ...
