First and foremost, thank you so much for your work on this. Its people like you that keep me coming back to amving. In the part of the guide concerned with deinterlacing footage before editing (progressive.htm) the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paragraphs are very helpful. However, it doesn't specify if you ne...

I found a song that I would definitely do a second remix for, but its not an ocremix (meaning its a video game remix, but not posted on ocremix.org). I thought it was, but when I went to get the link on the .org for it, it wasn't there. Here's a link to it from the creator's personal website. http:/...

I made this the other day.

I did it for kicks and giggles, but if you think it would be a good addition to the project, I can remake it, tightening up the lip syncing and improving the visual quality.

How's the project coming along? How many completed segments do we have as of now?
Whatever assistance I can be for the project, I'd love to pitch in. Nothing's worse than completing a segment if a project never finishes, so I'll do what I can to make sure that doesn't happen.

Trigun AVS Script

After 3 or so years of not making an AMV, I'm coming back into it with a new Trigun vid idea. However, I really am taking the pre-processing serious this time. Rather than just throw in the Telecide and decimate functions with some random smoother served to me in the AbsoluteDestiny's guide, I want ...

Do you have to decimate with that script (TDeint), or is it built into the filter?

Final up

http://files.filefront.com/Radman+Nausicaa+2997hufvavi/;10232797;/fileinfo.html Ok, final HuffyYuv Export posted. Take a look at it, make sure it'll work for the project. Let me know if anything's amiss or if I should do more/less post processing for a cleaner final product. I have a tiny hard driv...

I just remembered, the opening scene of my segment is a natural fade in the footage (its from the opening scence of the movie, so it fades in). Do you want me to change my first clip so as to remove that fade?

I have a technical question (and one that has been bugging me ever since I started AMV-ing): At :20 in my AMV segment, the video pans (meaning it was done by the original artists, not by me in photoshop or premiere), and it looks jumpy and/or choppy. To be more descriptive, the motion inherent in th...

OK, here's a preview of my project. This is NOT the final product (though it might be close). Its a simple XVid/mp3 encode with the classic DivX5 pulldown flags. Its in 640X320 with the letterboxes to preserve the quality. I need your opinion moonie as to video quality, fading, timing, etc. If you h...

I only jon MEPs if I have a specific idea for an amv before I join or I have an idea come to me when I find out about it. That way I can be done with my segment and not have to worry about deadlines, annoyed project coordinators, etc. :D
