Re: Girl Next Door {Kireblue}

I liked it. It represented the movie pretty well, didn't do anything more or less. I find myself with little to say in terms of particular praise or criticism, but it was pretty much exactly what I was expecting reading the description. I certainly wasn't disappointed.

Re: Serein (AKROSS 2014)

I had no idea what to expect with this, given the sources, but bravo man, this is insanely good. I feel like there's so much to absorb, I'm sure I'll be rewatching this one a lot to get everything. I loved the mood, the storytelling, and just the general aesthetic...it was beautiful. The only thing ...

Re: Self-Fulfilled Prophecy [Chuunibyou AMV]

This was going to be an uphill battle, as Boxxed was one of my favorite videos from 2013...but I ended up enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. The video has great flow, mostly great scene selection and you managed to capture the mood of the song quite well. Still like Boxxed better, but ...

Re: Death From Above, 1988

I like and dislike it. It has an interesting arty/esoteric feel to it, but its just so abrupt. If this was like part 1 in a series of things like this that would kind make it amazing though. Thanks for watching. This is pretty much how I feel about it, honestly. It was more of an, "I have this...

Death From Above, 1988

So over the next several weeks I'll be releasing a number of Kimagure Orange Road videos, and I'm going to start today with my AWA Pro video from last year. It's short, and weird, and my upcoming videos will be much more representative of the series/movies and will be...uh, more likable, maybe? I du...

Re: Best render settings for AE

You'd use pretty much the same render settings you'd use in Vegas. Encode the video using a lossless codec like Lagarith or UTVideo, and then use a different program like Zarx264gui to encode that to a small, distributable .mp4 file.

Re: What is the most commonly used program to remove subtitl

I think it's hardsubbed? lol I'm not too sure :( I had a look at avisynth and It looks suuuuper complicated, but I'll have another look. Just to be clear: hardsubbed means that they are an actual part of the video stream, as in somebody rendered the subs onto the video itself. Softsubbed means that...

Re: Out Of Date AMV Creator Needs Advice On Newfangled Tech

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Phantasmagoriat made this: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=107850 I haven't tested it and I have no idea how it works, so your mileage may vary. Unfortunately you seem to just want to do all the fun stuff without doi...

Re: Could someone correct this for me?

Hi, I'm not an English speaker in fact I'm spanish and I want to put this message in one of my amv's so I was hoping that someone that speaks english fluently could correct it: Neither the presence nor absence of an anime here don't have any relation with its quality. They have been choosed because...

Re: My first video, Akame ga kill

It helps that you didn't just post something and then expect people to watch it, you actually asked for feedback. And then, when someone responded with constructive criticism, you asked for more details and responded in a positive way. This goes a long way to getting people to respond around here, w...

Re: My first video, Akame ga kill

Eh, I thought the video was fine. It wasn't awful, it wasn't great, and I've seen a LOT worse first videos. I do agree with pretty much all that's already been said -- there's a weird disconnect between the first half of the video and the second half. I realize you weren't trying to tell a story but...

I've only watched Lucky Seven so far but that video was really fun, happy, upbeat, bouncy...just an all-around cute, feel-good video. Thanks for making it
