Hmm, I do see you point.. *ponders on this* I think I like the fact that it's kind of a punchline. I'm the kind of person to make people feel happy or make them laugh-- if nothing else get 'em with some shock value. But sad? Nah. I like a little 'last hit' at the end. ATTN PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO BE SAD:...

Glad you like it!

Everyone seems unhappy that (spoiler? Can you spoil AMVs?) it was a dream at the end.

Is that a bad decision on my part, or are you all just morbid? =P

I think I know why your aspect ratio got screwed up. You use Vegas correct? I've done the same thing. Go to: File>Properties A window should pop up. On the "Video" tab, see where it says 'pixel aspect ratio"? That should be set to "1.0000 (Square)" You probably have it set ...

Haha, alright. Thanks for the responses. I do agree that towards the end it felt derailed or--- something. But, that's why I'm not doing anymore slow songs for a while. =D So, since everyone hates my aspect ratio-- What is the correct aspect ratio, and how do I attain it? :D Also, what if I like my ...

The Death of Chiyo-Chan

Hi all. This is my 4th AMV, entitled The Death of Chiyo-Chan . Not much to say about it other than I killed Chiyo-chan and Osaka laments over it. And that it turned out slightly slower-paced than I'd intended it, but oh wellz. :D Enjoy. Oh, and please comment. I nourish myself on comments. 8-) [vidi...

But I've deleted my vob files already.

Or are you saying that I can convert the DivX video files to lag/huffy?

Well whichever it is, thanks a bunch. It helps a lot.

I have much to learn!

Hmm, well the pixelies are actually less structured than that, and don't contain other parts of the picture, they're just random colors. It looks exactly like this: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a203/DoomDragon6/capture.jpg That's taken from the AMV I mentioned. Well, if you're absolutely sure, ...

what compression is your source video? I used the AMVApp pack to do all my ripping, so I used the DivX 4.12 codec at the recommended settings. I feel like this oughtn't matter, since my other video sources worked before, and even this exact same source worked before. See, if it did this from the be...

I this exact same problem and it is killing me. I can't be making AMVs with random color checkers everywhere! I'll try to elaborate on my problem and maybe it'll help the OP as well. I'm working on my 4th AMV. My first 2 AMVs didn't have the problem, and my 3rd did. I figured the 3rd AMV's source fo...
