At Jacon last year, Spike Spencer (voice of Shinji) recommended spamming whoever got the license with requests to keep the old cast... that way he was able to whore himself out for more money.

In effect, once 3D becomes more mainstream I think we will once again see a higher standard of anime coming out of Japan, and 2D will more than likely die off and fade into the background as anime enters a new era of animation. I'm pretty sure that's either never gonna happen, or it'll take forever...

The law isn't enforced unless you rip, redistribute the materials, and get caught selling/sharing them.

Making a few amateur music videos with the material isn't gonna land you in prison. It'd be a pathetic day indeed if it did.
