I don't know what I did, but I was trying to make an .mp3 so that I could upload that into BeSweet. I was saving my .m4a in Vegas (which showed peaks in a new document) and I switched back over to my other doc, and THERE IT WAS! I don't know what I did to fix it, but it works now. What the hell just...

Audio Peaks in Vegas (I know... another one)

Last night I was working on a video in Vegas using a .m4a audio file. Yeah, I ripped the CD through iTunes. It was working fine last night, but this morning, when I opened the file to see if my 3AM ideas really were as good as I thought they were (lol), I got an "error codec" message and a...

Or you could be like me and not have more than the minimum system requirement to run Vegas.... Try rendering a part Tools > Preview in Player and check that out. It's a little messy for timing issues, but it works well enough. Even if that's not the problem, try giving this a shot. Usually that mean...

I've been having some technical difficulties with Vegas lately. I have made three videos (none post worthy) with the program and never had the same problem. I followed the directions in A&E's Tech guides, the same way as I had with my last video, and made functioning clips. They work in Zoom Pla...

Alright, I tried a lot of what you guys were talking about, but nothing really worked. My monitor is set to 32 bit, so that's not a problem. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1117/uninvitedgrainy4hz.jpg That's the grainy one, before I used deen. http://img65.imageshack.us/img65/5420/uninvitedbandin...

Gradiants to banding

(before I say anything else, I've been following Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides to the letter) I'm using clips from Jubei-chan (first season) and they use insane amounts of gradiants and halos and glowy stuff. I've gotten my first render finished and now I'm doing the AMVApp edit...

Nah, that's not the slow part (I shower during that time... and make a sammich) It's the actual choosing of the clips that takes forever. I have officially watched the entire series in no particular order just to find clips hahaha. It's all good... and about 75% constructed....

Thanks, guys. I don't quite understand what you're talking about, Scintilla... not quite yet, anyway ^^;. I've bowed down and have taken the walkthrough STEP BY STEP and am making clips which is working out pretty well, but SLOW! Gods, it's slow. Haha... the easy part of all this is the construction...

SFU avi files

I was a good girl and got all of my episodes in line that I wanted to use, then went over to the Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides guide (or whatever that Bible is called). I followed the instructions up to the avisynth part. I can't get Vegas to use it (even though I loaded Wax). I...

You know, I'm having the same problem. The real kicker is that I've already used the file before and made a vid! I went in today to try and fix this one last little timing element and POOF! It was all gone. All of the video was gone! Even in the parts that I'd already edited. I tried to reload it, b...

wow... that was fast! Thanks much! I guess it's like with my pictures.... keep a really huge, good version for self and little, compressed versions for the rest of the world. Mmm.. yes... that makes sense. I was afraid that I'd be stuck trying to load that monster up here with a friggin' 56K modem :...

Vegas problems - Files are too big!

I've only just gotten Vegas 6.0 and it's proven to be a very nice piece of software. My only problem is that while the videos that are created are absolutely beautiful, they're over a GB each! How can I get them to be a smaller compression but still be clean? The original movie file was around 700 M...
