Re: RWBY music video

Went through some new guides, the videos are now MP4's in H264, and the links are fixed. RWBY music video

Reposting in general discussion, as they objected in AMV announcements. I was messing around making a video for Penny, and friends convinced me to do the whole set. One for each character in the show, using songs based on who inspired the character. I've still got a few characters to work on, but I'...

Series of RWBY music videos

I was messing around making a video for Penny, and friends convinced me to do the whole set. One for each character in the show, using songs based on who inspired the character. I've still got a few characters to work on, but I've got the ones I care to for now. Penny: http://www.animemusicvideos.or...

out of date guides

So, I'm just coming back after 8 years or so, and I see the guides haven't really been kept modern. What's the preferred upload format these days? Sadly, I can't post them local as the org doesn't consider RWBY anime, so, how should I export these files while keeping them small?

Re: Haven't logged onto this board in 10 years. What's up Ne

Well, only 8 years for me. Looks like the guides haven't been updated any since then though. But yes, my friends convinced me to make some RWBY music videos, so here I am... only to be disappointed that the site doesn't consider it anime.

Nope, just watched the show, they're on the dvd itself. Sent both to the ftp, one full size, the other cropped.

Oh, there was one snag. The dvd footage is mucked up in some parts (no idea how it got that way). I can leave it in, or crop it. I ended up doing both, so I've got huffy's of both versions. I figured I'd send you both. By 15 seconds in, they're over either way.

Wondering: are we doing the avatar-in-the-corner thing, which seems to be common to many of these compilation projects? I'm cool with or without it, but thought I'd throw in the idea.

Yeah, I can still see some subtitles at 3:34 during Laputa. You might be able to get away with a still-pic overlay on the first camera angle, but I don't think it'd work on the second one. Otherwise, some of the audio transitions were a little strange... minor tempo shifts can be more unsettling tha...

I can make the changes to wishmaster, no problem. I'll load it in tonight. Unfortunetly, I don't have access to the Noir dvd's anymore. If somebody does, and can send me the .vob's for disks 1, 4, 6, &7; I have the premiere files and scripts still, so it should be easy enough to recombile then.

I'd recomend using YouSendIt, but it's probably too large for even that. They cap at a gig, but I've had smaller uploads cut-out on me. Still, might be worth a shot.
