1:1 op exchange for Fighting For Your Love Remastered...

Hey guys, so I know I have the free opinion post going on but I am looking for some opinions on my amv Fighting For Your Love Remastered. It was my first attempt cleaning up old anime footage. Compared to the original version there are no cheesey effects, and the lipsync I could use some feedback on...

Re: Anime Crossroads 2015 AMV/MV Contest *Update Please Read

Personally I have had editors forget to add a blank space in the video so in order to create that gap I just make 2 second blank video before and after. I don't touch the editors video, but they are indepent from the video when I burn the DVD or put them in the playlist to give it that gap. As far a...

Re: Katsucon AMV Showdown

It's actually a nice idea. Just a few bumps that need to be fixed. I'm just glad Katsucon decided to post the rules on the org. I almost forgot about the deadline.

Re: Katsucon AMV Showdown

This was mentioned in the NSFW contest forum for Katsucon, but I just looked and confirmed there is no spot in there for leaving contact information. So how will the editors be notified if their AMV's were recieved or even if they made the finals?

Re: Anime As We Know It (Fantasia Alla Marcia)

As a studio partner you already know what I think about the video. I will say this though it was nicely thought out and well put together. It was a nice watch and recommend people watching it. I'm not just saying that, I really mean it. This video just be prepared to sit down and enjoy the experienc...

Re: The Vent Thread

So bored at work. Nothing going on today again. Forced to sit in the office for 8 hours and do nothing. Only 3 more hours to go. I really wish I had some work to do to make the day go by faster and feel useful.

Re: The noobs

I agree with some of the others here. It is the attitude of the people online that discourage other editors. It is also the confidence in the editors when they first don't succeed in editing. Sorry your first AMV is not going to win major awards after awards on your first try. You probably willn't g...

Editing Projects growing in file size over the years?

So just curious. I remember when using only DVD's that each one was about 8 GBs. Now I rip a Blu-Ray and just for one episode it is close to 200 GBs. 200!!! I mean I know I'm ripping them as a lossless AVI. I never imagine that it would take up that much space. Is this the way you guys edit with Blu...

Re: The end of the Betatesting?

I don't beta test my videos publicly, I normally will ask my studio members or some other editors that I know. Reason I beta test is because it gives me another set of eyes to go back and clean up some stuff. Anyways TritioAFB, feel free to contact me or Sephirothskr, and we'll be happy to beta test...

Re: Getting back in the saddle

Kind of funny how the old editors are starting to come back after all these years. Good luck on your new AMV. I'm learning a new program myself. It will be interesting for sure.

Setsucon 2015 Jan.24th-25th...

Hey guys I'm going to be at Setsucon in Jan. I was wondering if there are going to be any other editors there. It's a small convention at Penn State, but it's fun to hang out and it's only $35 for the weekend. Would be cool to meet up with any of you guys there if you get a chance to come by. Gene S...
