Unless you have a surround sound track, you really have no chance of doing so very well with any program. And even if your track is surround sound, there isn't even a guarantee that the vocal is isolated on only one of the channels.

Quicktime Pro is probably the easiest of all ways to convert .mov, and it converts to numerous file formats. File>Export and that's it.

He means join clips at the edit points on the timeline. I'd offer more help then that, but I don't know how to do that on Vegas unfortunatley.

Why not just download and watch the (probably) higher quality video from here and watch it then?
