Gundam Wing Complete Series: Where to Get It

Obviously it's out of print and since Bandai went under it'll likely never be reprinted, but I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can buy legit Region 1 copies of it anymore (new or used, I don't even care at this point as long as the discs work), and not pay two limbs and a firstborn child ...

Re: So have you made the videos you have always wanted?

I think it's impossible to make ALL the videos I've really wanted. The average human lifespan just isn't long enough, dammit. So I've just settled for making the ones that go for the mental jugular and won't let go until that last frame is rendered.

Re: MegaCon/Anime Sushi AMV 2010 -deadline extended to March 5th

Are we allowed to submit more than one, since you need more videos? And how fresh do they need to be? Because I entered mine, but I'll gladly toss you some more if you want filler :D I enter contests more for exposure than for competition anyway. Or heck, just scan my Org Profile and grab what you w...

Re: Anime Expo 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Rules Up

Ah, ok. I was confused because the contest rules mention FTP submission (multiple times!), but there's nothing about how to request access.

Re: Anime Expo 2010 Anime Music Video Contest Rules Up

Er...hell of a time to ask, but how do we go about requesting FTP upload permission? And where's the contest entry form?

ETA: Nevermind, grabbed the PDF for the entry form. But who do we request FTP access from?

Re: At what point is constructive criticism no longer useful?

Then why would said majority pay attention to opinions, qcs, amv announcements feedback in the first place? For the same reason any fanfic author pays attention to reviews; it's proof that someone actually watched it. That doesn't mean they care that some faceless anon thinks they needed more exter...

Re: At what point is constructive criticism no longer useful?

You don't have to directly follow word for word what criticism says, but there ARE things you can draw from it as an editor and use to your advantage. You'd be an idiot not to take a chance to learn something But all you're really "learning" in this setting is what a few random people on ...

Re: At what point is constructive criticism no longer useful?

But when you release a video here, it's not just for you any more. Whether you argue that or not, that's up to you. But if you're just doing it for you, there's no reason to ever release videos. You can keep them to yourself and watch them whenever you'd like. In the meantime, humble yourself and l...

Re: At what point is constructive criticism no longer useful?

I think what it all boils down to is that constructive criticism ceases to be useful when it makes creating AMVs a chore rather than a hobby. The reason we make AMVS and share them with others is because we love anime, we love music, and mixing the two is fun. When releasing a video amounts to a web...
