Re: Vista 64bit vs. XP 64bit - Is there a winner?

XP 64-bit, from what I know, is pretty universally considered crap. If you're going 64-bit, use Vista, or 7 if you're willing to play with shiny beta things. For 32-bit, it's still pretty much just a matter of personal preference.

Oh, and I have tried the chroma=true suggested in the thread I linked, but then I end up with some ghosting - if all else fails, though, it's still an improvement over without that parameter.

...and here I thought blended sources were rare - especially in R1 releases. Do you have any video frames you could throw up to show? I don't have any shots myself at the moment, but I've been poking a little at the discs myself (not a lot because I'm working on another video at the same time - onl...

Oh hey, good thing I decided to wander over to sub-forums other than where I usually lurk around here, meant I saw this. This one's me. :D

Hooray!

I do feel kind of stupid now because it was probably fairly obvious on one or another of my searches, but now I can start this video. :D

Fixing field blending on NTSC sources?

So anyway, one of the posts in the thread over in General Video on the beta EADFAG/newest AMVapp says: Also, that section (for methods 1 and 3) reads, "MRestore should ONLY be tried if you have PAL footage with a framerate of 25 fps. " That's actually not true. At its default values, it does return ...
