Well, music is kind of what I do. So far I've attempted one AMV and did both the editing and the music for it. I'll be starting to work on something new soon. I released a CD a couple months ago and I'm starting to work on a new one. *shrug* It's better than working at 711. :)

the music reminded me of old sega sound tracks it was kinda neat i suppose but it just rehashed the end of bebop The point, though, was to write a song to a nearly uncut scene. So, yes, it does just play through the end of the last episode. I'll never try and say that I'm a 'video editor' but I do ...

I've been talking about it on IRC over the past week and I've shown a few folks some beta versions of it on Youtube. I'm uploading a Xvid version to my ser...

I'm just an audio guy. I guess I should have read the 'howto' a little further. I'm converting things to xvid as we speak and I'm going to see if I can upload the new version. You have to request deletion of the current video entry, or you could add it as an external link... I have the request in n...

End of the Line - an AMV with original music

[vidid=147584] This is my first shot at an AMV. What I've done here is somewhat of a reverse of what people normally do since I scored the music to a pre-edited scene from Cowboy Bebop. The only thing I removed from the original scene was a few spots containing heavy dialog. Hopefully I'll have some...

Communist Yard Sale album

Commnist Yard Sale is another project I'm involved with that's more on the acoustic side of things. Everything is done with our EP except the artwork. You can preview the entire album from http://www.Pureshift.com under the listen section. There are now 9 tunes total with 3 of them just being posted...

Lets see...

Started out with clarinet and trumpet years ago but I haven't touched them in years.

These days I play guitar, bass, keys, tin whistle and percussion. I spend more time programming synth type stuff lately, though.

It depends on how much you want to spend and how much 'screwing' you're looking to do. I personally use Pro Tools and Ableton Live but I'm also writing a lot of original music. Audacity is actually a fairly useful program, though, and I still use it when I want to perform some basic edits.

Let me know if you'd be interested in some custom sounds. I can produce stuff that sounds like it's from that era.

Being a musician myself, I get introduced to a lot of stuff. I catch shows when I can and tend to network a lot with other musicians out there. Myspace, Soundclick, Last.fm, etc. I tend not to listen to a ton of top 40 stuff, though.
