After a long time i must say, i like this. Its different to your other videos and has a nice mood. But some "effects" were a bit to often, it was this shutter cuts, but well hard to explain for me....

That is hard to say, because the idea is important also the genre of the video. You can get many out of so many Animes, most time of the new ones, if you want a good quality of the pictures.
So a list would be very hard.

I play League of Legends, Call of duty MW 1,2,3 and Black Ops.
Also left4dead2 and devilmaycry4

Ok i can tell you a bit what makes an AMV bad in ma opinion. First the cuts or synchro of anything dont fit to the music. As fast music and slow long scenes, the music and video look like different things not like one. Also if i dont get into the idea of the video and it takes my emotions. Like a go...

This hobby gave me a new way to get my isperations a place to show and collect them. Befor i started with AMVs i wrote stories and that was more a mind thing. it scares me that most people think i will lose XD It should scare you more that some ppl expect MAMO! to win the whole tournament. Know your opponent! I'd argue there is more pressure when people expect you to win. I'd rather be the underdog then having people breath down my neck expecting to win....
