Ikuhara's Experimental Film (RGU Movie)

This is my first full-length AMV. The most I've done with AMVs before have been entries for AMV Hells 4 and CE. This still isn't quite as polished as I'd like it to be, but I had to get it done for a convention submission deadline, so there it is. ^^;;

Just curious: am I the only one here who's trying to make the wait more bearable by getting excited whenever there's a new page in this thread? Just 'cause it's an entertaining thread to read? ^^;; *Key is pathetic*

Just submitted another entry last night, and another's in the process of uploading. The first was done really quickly, but came out giggle-worthy, I think. Second I worked a lot longer on, and I really, REALLY hope it goes over well. ^_^ Is anyone else using FireFTP for Firefox? So far all my upload...

Just submitted my third entry the other day, and really hoping it gets in. I've had the idea in my head for quite some time now. ^^ And yay, picked up the new Haruhi DVD yesterday! Now to scrub through and see if any entry ideas spring forth so that I can put that brand new, non-fansub footage to go...

Oh just you wait, as soon as I scrounge up a bit more cash to upgrade my RAM, I'll be able to use Final Cut Pro. Then we'll see who's poking fun at Mac editing. ;)

Re: Don't know

That's what I get for not visiting a-m-v.org or amvhell.com for several months. I'm late seeing this all-important announcement. o_o I still have yet to make any of my own full-length AMVs (mostly due to frustration with how long it takes to convert DVD footage on my compy). However, I had such fun ...

Ack, sorry for the double post. That was a mistake, I thought I was editing my previous post (which now I see you can't do in this part of the forum :P).

I have returned (to those that remember me... lol )

No, Zarxrax decided that something like that would be unfeasible given the sheer number of entries, and given that it would probably be truly painful to watch at times.

*blush* Oh wow, I didn't expect that many of my entries would make it in as notables. ^o^ Although I'm a bit embarrassed that two of them were entries I didn't like as much as some of my others (the Angelic Layer and the Mewtwo Strikes Back ones), I'm just glad to have gotten in at all. And everyone...

Stupid YT took such a long time to process my video. :P Again, I think it's pretty funny myself, but I guess you guys may think differently. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1cveQwCv5Y By the way, Coderjoe: damn, I was hoping no one else would use the Utena movie. XD;; Good job on the car radio graph...

Here was my only submission to round 18. A lot of my friends liked this one a lot. http://www.youtub.com/watch?v=9BGqXtOcgJs Again, nice editing, but little to no comedic value, I found. I guess you could say the same for mine, though. I thought it was pretty funny myself, but the two people I show...

The important qualities you mentioned were true, but there was another line I was basing mine off of: What are the judges looking for? The judges will be looking for the video that they feel is funniest and most enjoyable. Editing and technical skill ARE NOT judged, although they may effect how a j...

yea Marlin Beta that wasnt funny to me so i assume it would have made more sence if i had seen the anime. wat is it anyway. Yeah. I wasn't really going for funny on that one. I was trying to make something that fit the situation (similar to the Hellsing "Viva Forever" clip from AMV Hell 3. That was...
