Re: Cleaning up script help.. with examples

Hey everyone, sorry for the slow reply, I've been super busy lately. I've got DeJitter downloaded so I'll give it a try when I get the time :)

Thanks again, everyone. I've fixed up the script as you've said and these are the new results, not much different from before but a little improved: http://www.nyaano.net/files/mosquitonsss1.png http://www.nyaano.net/files/mosquitonsss2.png http://www.nyaano.net/files/mosquitonsss3.png and this is t...

Sorry for the double post (once that spam's removed, anyway). Here are the "cleaned" screencaps and my new script. I think it looks a lot better compared to the original footage and it's probably the best I'm going to get considering the original animation quality without having to redraw ...

Thanks everyone for your help. I've downloaded all of the mentioned scripts and I'll be experimenting with the footage tonight. I'll post screencaps of the results when I get it looking better ;)

Cleaning up script help.. with examples

I've been working on cleaning up the Master of Mosquiton OVA for AMV use in AviSynth. Normally I'm alright with AviSynthing footage, I've managed to clean up a few series quite nicely but this series is just giving me no end of grief to clean x.x Here are some screencaps of the original footage &...

Very pretty amv.. lovely feeling to it as well.

Only thing I didn't like was the ugly black bar along the bottom cutting off a load of the video ;_; I'm guessing they were subtitles? This video would've been so much better if it had've had better quality source footage..

Another delightfully un-PC video from you.. why am I not surprised :P Not a bad video, it's got some really good editing throughout (especially on the tattoo). The lipsync could use some work, just a little touching up here and there but nothing too big. Only gripe I had was too slow. But then again...

But 720x540 is no DVD resolution, neither PAL nor NTSC. So it's resized, what I count as processing. The resizing is done before deinterlacing - if it's done improperly it can be the reason that you can't remove the interlacing completely. I usually work off the resolution the DVD gives when I inse...

Firstly I'm sorry for not replying over the past couple days - my internet's been screwy and I've had barely any time online :( Secondly, I ran through some more scripts and found that fielddeinterlace() cleaned it up enough for it to be more useable.. it doesn't get rid of all of it but it cleans i...

Small interlacing problem (with visual references)

Okay, I'm pretty new to AviSynth and I'm not sure if this is easily resolved or not but what the hell, I won't learn unless I ask! I've nearly finished ripping all of the R2 Ouran DVDs (..yes they're official, not bootleg, else I'd know where my problem was straight away) but I've noticed all throug...

There's a great program called MediaCoder I had recommended to me. It easily converts MP4s to a variety of formats. :)

I always try to do a bit of both, since a good mix makes the kind of video I always enjoy. If it's just "old school" editing it can get boring, and if it's just "seizuretiffic" it can get old and predictable, as well as painful to watch. Keep the editing simple, but kick it up a ...
