All of the things you mentioned are only a matter of personal opinion (though I personally wouldn't show non-anime movies in an anime club.) I don't like the idea of them calling themselves an anime club if they deviate from anime, though. Sometimes we show movies but if we do they are always Japan...

I'm actually glad to see Toonami go. I admit it was also what really got me into anime, although I was interested in anime before it came around. But the sad thing was it did such an excessive job of editing and chopping up anime. Removing nudity, removing excessive violence, removing entire scenes ...
