Oh crap, is major surgery a decent excuse for missing the deadline? I swear I'll make the second deadline. Besides, I always send completed tracks anyway, none of that wimpy 'beta' stuff.

Rats, my AMV didn't make the finals. I wish I'd finished SYoS on time, because I really think it would've had a chance.

Darn shame you guys didn't extend the deadline until today. I just missed the deadline for my second AMV by a couple hours, and I've been working on it nonstop for the past few days. Stupid thing takes too long to render!

Do you mean subtitles as in fansubs/DVD rips, or subtitles as in subtitling the lyrics to a non-English song you're using for the AMV? If it's the first, NO! If it's the second, I'd recommend finding a guide for making a softsub file, which you can offer for download alongside the finished AMV.
