I still need to do some playing with VLC, but as it stands now, I would say that if the file from a PS2 game disc can be played in VLC, you should be able to run it through DGIndex and get an .AVS file that you can edit to your needs and open in VDubMod to convert to whatever format you want. I thi...

I try every new method that comes down the pike, but alas, apparently that method also does not apply to Shadow Hearts Covenant, for those that might want to know. I did not find a .mfa file anywhere on the disc/image and VLC wouldn't play the few .bin files there were. Perhaps I'm looking in the wr...

I'd like to add to avdcptr's post: that method also does not work on Shadow Hearts Covenant or Shadow Hearts: For The New World. I have tried it in a variety of ways and I still have not found a way to rip either of those games.

Music video: Loveless

To assuage my feelings of self-preservation and keep SenshiMamoru from killing me XD (not really, but it sounds funny :)), I announce the first music video I've made with my new computer, amid all the problems with the motherboard and reinstalling windows four times: Title: The Unforgiven Anime: Lov...

I'm having the same problem with Inuyasha. And when, somehow, I managed to get FFX on there, which did the same, now I can't get it off!

So how does that work? Whatever you play is automatically captured? Or is there a setting, or what? I have a DC10++ capture card

And since we can't edit out posts...unless you know of a way to get the game to run on a computer, in which case, I'm *still* screwed because I don't have a camcorder anyway.

That's what I'll probably have to end up doing, but at this moment, it may not be possible. I have the capture card and all, but the setup between the VCR and the rest of the tv and playstation 2 hardware may not work. I had done something like that before, but since we replaced the sound system, it...

Has anyone on this forum had any luck with extracting the FMVs from Shadow Hearts Covenant? I've tried every single method I've come across, even this one, and it's yet to work. :(

Well, I don't need it to make a music video, no, but I really wanted the audio on these clips. As for dBPowerAMP Music Converter, it doesn't seem to support .dat? Well, at least it doesn't find my kinds of dat files. I did manage to find a converter (River Past Audio Converter - supposed to be able...

Ah, I see. :) Do you need the audio? [If you're planning to make a music video, you may not need the audio anyways, and just work with the m2vs.] But then again, you might. I'm thinking the .dat [audio] files from the .pss files are similar to that of the .dat[audio] files of a VCD. dBPowerAMP Musi...

Anybody give me any help with pss demux? According to this, for .pss, it's supposed to make the audio into a wave, but all I get are .dat's. .dat files? Try using ISOBuster to convert the dat files to MPG files.(I'm assuming they're MPG) Open the dat file, and right click>Extract ...>Treat as video...
